Are there really so many days where everyone in the world is romantic and loving that having ONE where those wonderful emotions are intentionally front and center is a bad thing? I THINK NOT.
CELEBRATE LOVE.
BE TOLD!
Happy Valentine's Day!

Date: 2011-02-15 04:09 am (UTC)Hey, don't feel bad about your kitchen adventures. I blew up my mom's gas grill when I was 9. The top of my (short) hair got singed enough to change the color from dark brown to light beige, but I didn't get burned anywhere. (And my eyelashes and eyebrows didn't get singed.) I'm still not sure how that happened.
I'm actually lucky I didn't get flattened since the cast-iron lid that blew off landed where I had been standing before I jumped back. The only lasting effect was a lifelong obsession with conditioning my hair.
