Oh, For Fuck's Sake, People...

Are there really so many days where everyone in the world is romantic and loving that having ONE where those wonderful emotions are intentionally front and center is a bad thing? I THINK NOT.

CELEBRATE LOVE.

BE TOLD!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I totally celebrated twice last night and twice this morning.

[identity profile] shirtlifterbear.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:30 pm (UTC)(link)
This?

IS WHY I LOVE YOU!

Amongst many other reasons, of course.

*grin and smooch*

Ha I love you too, mister! <3 <3 <3

PS OMG PARTY HANGOVER, still in effect! OUCHIES.

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:34 pm (UTC)(link)
Yesterday was pretty rough for me. I was up until 8am Saturday, then only got to sleep a couple hours before coming over, forgot to eat, then got wrecked at your place. When I got home, I couldn't sleep past 4 hours, then went to a friend's where he fed me scotch and sake. I was crashed out by 8:30pm last night. I feel much better, but dang. Still a little hazy here and there. I may need to run it off!

[identity profile] shirtlifterbear.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:51 pm (UTC)(link)
SRSLY.

I get hungover if you say the word alcohol, and while I had quite a bit, it was over the course of 7 hours. But right now, still hurty-pies.

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:52 pm (UTC)(link)
Awwwww. Can you get some coconut water? It is like the holy grail of hangover remedies!

[identity profile] shirtlifterbear.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
I've heard that before!

I will try to get me some!

*giggle*

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 04:57 pm (UTC)(link)
If possible, go for the flavored stuff. Coconut water tastes nastayyyyyy.

[identity profile] shirtlifterbear.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
I remember the first time I drank it out of a coconut, and gagged.

It was like rancid aspirin water!

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-14 05:41 pm (UTC)(link)
That is exactly it. So gross. That makes me even sadder that it is so effective!

[identity profile] tzaddi-93.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:45 am (UTC)(link)
Put it in a shake to go with the greaseburger that you're craving. You know it will help!

Massive hike to Bridal Veil falls worked for us yesterday. Now I am just sore from all the climbing of mountains...

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:23 am (UTC)(link)
Definitely take it and use it! :D

[identity profile] tzaddi-93.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:32 am (UTC)(link)
Thank you! Can I have the "dreaming of bacon" one too? That's incredibly funny. It reminds me of [livejournal.com profile] shirtlifterbear's fable about the baconfruit tree.

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:33 am (UTC)(link)
Oh heck yes. Take any that you want! And I have to say, I am not even a fan of bacon, but he made candied bacon for us and I nearly wept with joy when I tasted it.

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:35 am (UTC)(link)
Totally. Since I so rarely eat meat to start with, it's definitely a treat that I can deal with. It even inspired me to cure my own bacon. For someone that gets excited about finding alternate proteins so she can feed the animal parts to the dog instead, that is a major step.

[identity profile] tzaddi-93.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
I've been thinking about trying this bacon recipe. It sounds like it will either be amazing or an unmitigated disaster. I'm kind of cool with it either way. You either get a yummy treat or a funny story.

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:53 am (UTC)(link)
WHOA. I am sold. I am totally making that for the guys for brunch one of these weekends. Thank you!

And you're so right. At the very least, there is potential for injury which is something I feel is necessary for the end product to live up to its full delicious potential.

[identity profile] tzaddi-93.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 03:57 am (UTC)(link)
Heh. You should read Vanilla Garlic's story about homemade Exploding Churros. Put down your beverage first.

Ha! This just made my night

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-15 04:03 am (UTC)(link)
I kind of want to marry him RIGHT NOW. I thought things like that only happened to me. I nearly lopped off a finger with a can of water chestnuts last year and ended up in the ER to get put back together. I don't feel nearly so bad now. Thank you!

[identity profile] tzaddi-93.livejournal.com 2011-02-16 05:08 am (UTC)(link)
OK. I just came across this recipe for bacon cheddar biscuits, and it also sounds good. Maybe a bacon-themed brunch?

[identity profile] notlostonme.livejournal.com 2011-02-16 04:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Oh my gosh. I think I am going to make those TODAY. Let's have an LJ bacon brunch someday. We'll fly you in.
