Oh, For Fuck's Sake, People...

Are there really so many days where everyone in the world is romantic and loving that having ONE where those wonderful emotions are intentionally front and center is a bad thing? I THINK NOT.

CELEBRATE LOVE.

BE TOLD!

Happy Valentine's Day!

Well, sure, in your situation, who wouldn't be romantic?!

(Hey, wait. My situation too! YEAH!)

What's interesting is that even when I was single I was STILL romantic on VD!

It was like I was making my trousseau!

You know?

So what did you put into your trousseau?

Hopes and dreams, hopes and dreams.

But Dahling, you cannot properly set your table without china, silver and linens! And gawd forbid your silver have hollow handles! :D

Oh, I do have my antique china service for 12, 7 pieces per setting, and sterling pattern with covers for 14. And lead crystal for 12, four glasses per setting. (Wine, water, champagne, cordial)

And grandmother's linen service.

One makes do with what one has!!

I'm assuming your sterling pattern comes from the "they've been making that one forever" collection as opposed to "they don't make them like they used to."

Williamsburg Carbuncle, of course!

LOL! Knew you'd get the reference. Enjoy your wall-to-wall patina, but please don't strive for a pureblood stove.

Truly one of my favorite books ever!
