Wait. Wait, wait, wait: are you saying that the Tea Baggers are a bunch of scared, homophobic, bigoted white Republicans? NO!

Not exactly.

There's no mention of them being Republicans.

hahhaa - the Republican part I got from other sources. Next election's going to be interesting - the Tea Party might cause a pretty significant rift in the Republican party.

Best thing that could happen, really. Then the sane ones can get on with developing an actual platform instead of turning their private freak-outs into a national agenda.

In happier news, the Obama administration is finally doing something about its campaign promise to repeal DADT. It has already passed the the House of Representatives and the Senate Armed Services Committee, but Congress will be likely to drag it out as they always do. Still, I am certain that after the usual media-inspired congressional drama this thing will get through.

While equal opportunity for blacks and minorities to succeed is important, it's not really the government's job to guarantee it.

Because the so-called free market does such a good job of perpetuating social justice. Oh, wait...

"I'm shocked, shocked to find that hatred is going on in here!"
"Your campaign donations, sir."
"[sotto voce] Oh, thank you very much."

Well, when times are tough, people look for a scapegoat. When heterosexual white men can't get a job, they blame the minorities.

Somehow this doesn't surprise me in the least, I have a feeling they really don't know what they are angry about as it all seems so scattershot right now.

Quite frankly, I'm glad we have the power so let's use our collective political muscle and browbeat those people into submission. :-D

Now, now... You know these people were all plants by the Democrats to discredit the tea partiers. Tea Partiers don't have a racist, homophobic, mean-spirited bone in their body. Bodies. Whatever. IT'S A CONSPIRACY!!!!
